Refunds & Assumption of Risk policy

You are entitled to a full refund or free rebooking up to 1 day (24 hours) prior to the original reservation. No refunds of any kind are issued within the 24 hour period prior to the ordinal booking (scheduled start time of activity.) A rebooking fee of 40 dollars will be applied for any changes in the date of a reservation within 1 day prior to original booking date and time.

A full refund or free rebooking will be issued any time there is a cancelation of the tour by SNUBA OAHU for any reason.

We will reimburse you no later than 10 days from the day on which we receive the (in time) cancelation. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the order, and you will not incur any fees for such reimbursement up to 1 day prior to reservation. Rare unforeseen circumstances may allow a partial refund with in the 1 day by manager approval. This is a case by case basis. The upgrade cost of $70 dollars will be refunded on days the outer reef at Hanauma Bay is closed due to conditions for the outer reef second tank dive tour.

Conditions NOT eligible for refunds include:
  • Weather or water conditions, this includes water visibility, waves, temperatures of water or air, rain, wind or other natural factors.

  • Parking or transportation problems including traffic or full parking lots.

  • Change in travel plans, late flights, or long hotel check-ins.

  • You were not able to dive because of an unreported medical condition that was covered by the health prescreening.

  • You or someone in your party not completing the dive.

  • expectations not fulfilled of dive or scenery.

  • Nervousness or feeling uncomfortable, claustrophobic, nausea, gagging sunburn, or headache.

  • The gear or breathing felt uncomfortable or unnatural.

  • Mask or fin issues including leaking or comfort.

  • inability to equalize ears or dive down to desired depth.

  • Scrapes, cuts, bruises, or injuries due to coral, rocks, sand, or wildlife.

  • Children not able to participate due to misbehavior, unsafe actions, or not effectively learning skills.

  • Shortened dive time due to weight belt removal from instructor or speed of consumption of air by you or someone in your party.

  • Problems with camera / Go-pro personal or rental functioning correctly.

  • Leaky mask, uncomfortable fins, sunburn irritations.

  • Problems sinking down to depth.
